Digitalisation efforts in the Norwegian Salmon industry

iFishIENCi partner, NCE Seafood Innovation Cluster, is supporting efforts towards digitalisation and data standardisation efforts in the Norwegian salmon industry, by focusing upon environmental, health and welfare registrations, and reporting systems. At this year’s Aqua Nor conference, Björgolfur Hávardsson gave a presentation describing the iFishIENCi project’s role in digital technology development, and its contribution towards delivering value to industry and R&D companies. Lars Ebbesson, from NORCE, also provided a general overview of the iFishIENCi project during the “New opportunities in the ocean” seminar.
